Catch me, as I fall
Say you're here and it's all over now
Speaking to the atmosphere
No one's here and I fall into myself
This truth...Drives me...Into...Madness
I know I can stop the pain if I will it all away...
If I will it all away...

Quiet hoofbeats echoed across this valley, seemingly making the place seem hollow -- of the utmost emptiness. Dark orbs gazed around the area, falling silently upon the water that spewed from the rock overhang above her bodice, allowing the translucent liquid to fall threateningly from it's grasp, only to clash down upon the rocks benieth it. A sharp wound had wound it's way into her right flank, allowing crimson blood to run down her leg, stopping just short of her cannon before it allowed itself to drip aimlessly toward the lush envious grasses, which bowwed under the implied weight.

Don't turn away
Don't give into the pain
Don't try to hide
Though they're screaming your name
Don't close your eyes
God knows what lies behind them
Don't turn out the light...
Never sleep...Never die...

The wound in her flank seemed to bite heavily into her flesh with each step, making the mare grind her teeth together in shrill pain, however, she made no remark of total pain in her physique, but made it her aim to keep moving. Slowing down, or even stopping, could prove fatal, something she did not need at all. Not now, not ever...Her time wasn't up yet.

I'm frightened by what I see
But somehow I know that there's much more to come
Immobilized, by my fears...
And soon to be...Blinded by tears.
I can stop the pain if I will it all away...
If I will it all away...

As the mare approached the water, she lowered her head, to look upon her reflection. A wince spread across her features as she realized the pain that was inflicted within her eyes. Not just physical, but emotional. Her mother had died recently, and now she was all alone in this world. Her mother had been a Light, and her father had been a Dark, whom had forcebred her mother. Despite the fact that her mother had been forcebred, she hadn't rejected Quietus, which had been a pure miracle on her behalf.

Instead, she'd accepted her young filly, and learned to love her. Quietus had adored her mother, and idolized her...Until her father had come back, and stole her durring the night. But her ever-loving mother faught back, wounding herself to protect her daughter. Luckily, her mother had lived through that battle.

Don't turn away
Don't give into the pain
Don't try to hide
Though they're screaming your name
Don't close your eyes
God knows what lies behind them
Don't turn out the lights..
Never sleep...Never die...

Now she did not know where she belonged. She was not Dark, she knew that. Her mind had buzzed, nagging at her to choose a religion. After a while, it had settled upon the singled out thought of becoming a Light, and staying one. Upon many occasions she'd been tempted to be Dark, but now, she would turn to the Lights for comforting..Yes. Maybe she'd even find a Light companion, a mate to spend the rest of her days with...If anybody could ever love her, that was...

Fallen angels at my feet
Whispering voices at my ears..
Death before my eyes
Lying next to me I fear
She beckons me,
Shall I give in?
Before my end shall I begin
Forsaking all I've fallen for I rise to meet the end.

Her lithe body shuddered under the mist of the water, spraying onto her coat. It stung, when it met her open wound, and she sighed dramatically. Nobody would love this dove, with the wound in her side. Nobody possibly could, why would they want to anyways? She didn't know, and she figured they'd just reject her, before they knew her...Maybe...She'd be lucky...Just maybe...

Servatis a periculum...
Servatis a maleficum...
Servatis a periculum...
Servatis a maleficum...

Servatis a Quietus.
